died Tuesday, August 19, 1986 at the Harrisburg General Hospital.
Born in Needmore, he was the son of the late Sherman and Goldie Pittman
Bard.
He was a transfer truck driver and of the protestant faith.
He was a member of the Chambersburg Loyal Order of Moose.
He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Evans of Fla.; three sisters:
Janet Swope of McConnellsburg; Edna Allison of Hope Sounds, Fla., and Faye
Bard of Point Pleasant, W. Va.; one brother, Durkee Bard of McConnellsburg and
three grandchildren.
Services were held at 2: PM Friday, August 22 at the Howard L. Sipes
funeral Home in Harrisonville. The Rev. Toby Mellott and the Rev. Willis Swope
officiated. Burial was made in Pleasant Ridge Nazarene Church Cemetery in
Harrisonville.
