David Booth died in his 82nd Year - thus could have been 81 at the time of his death = b. 1771 or 1772.

In the accounts of the Hull and Leigh families, their marriage is noted as "Rev. David Booth and Betty Hull," with no date given.

Excerpt from Vinton County, Ohio History and Families, pg. 73:
It was in 1822 that David Booth and Elizabeth Booth, together with their family located to Wilkesville Township, Vinton County, Ohio. The location was two miles south of the village of Wilkesville on the road which is now State Route 160. They had come from Massachusetts. A number of families had located in the vicinity who were of English descent so the name "Yankee Street" was appropriately chosen for the area.

David Booth first appears in Wilkesville Twp., Gallia Co., Ohio Census in 1830, with 4 males and 1 female in the household (possible 3rd son - no further record):

In 1850, Booth, David, 79, farmer, b 1771 CT, and Elizabeth, 76, b '1774' CT, Dwelling 53, Family 257, between sons:
Hiram Booth - Dwelling 52, Family 256, and
David H. Booth - Dwelling 54, Family 258.

To wife, Elizabeth, her support and maintenance during her natural life and proper burial to be provided by my two sons, in lieu of dower.
Two sons, David H. Booth and Hiram Booth each to have half of farm and tract of land where testator now lives in Wilkesville Twp., being 180 acres - south part Section 2, T8, R16 of Ohio Company Purchase. Sons to pay bequests to my heirs as specified herein.
Daughters Sophia Wells, Lydia Ann Wells and Polly Lee [Leigh].
Personal property to be divided equally between my 5 children.
Grandson, Charles Purington (son of dau. Julean [Julia], deceased, and Jonathan Purington).

1. Sophia Booth, b. abt. 1798, md. 4 Apr 1822 in Gallia Co., to Henry K. Wells. She died before 13 Feb 1875, when Henry K. Wells wrote his will (probated 27 May 1876).

2. Lydia Ann Booth, b. 1804, md. 23 Nov 1825 to Augustus Wells in Gallia Co. She may have remarried after the his death.

3. Mary "Polly" Booth, b. 24 Sep 1805, Mount Washington, Berkshire Co., Mass., md. in Gallia Co. on 22 Nov 1824, to Robert Leigh. They migrated to Knox Co., Illinois. She d. there 17 Jul 1887. Source: Leigh family histories

4. Julean (or Julia Ann) Booth, b. ca 1809, md. 8 Jan 1828 to Jonathan Purrington in Gallia Co. They had one son, Charles b. Purrington b. 24 Feb 1831. She died soon after. Jonathan Purrington md. Margaret Riley in 1836, and thereafter migrated to Liverpool, Columbiana Co., Ohio.

5. David Hull Booth, b. abt 1810, md. abt 1832 to Mary "Polly" Strong.

6. Hiram Booth, b. 13 Jul 1814, md. 20 Sep 1838 in Gallia Co. to Belinda Cherrington. She died abt 18 Dec 1840 and abt. 1841 Hiram remarried to Minerva Manring.
