Big Timber Pioneer, June 1, 1977
Juanita K. Officer, 89, longtime Livingston resident, died Saturday morning at her home in Livingston following an apparent heart attack.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Holbrook United Methodist Church with the Rev. Owen Arrington officiating.
She was married to Laurence Officer on June 27, 1906, in Livingston and they ranched in Sweet Grass County for 37 years before moving to Park county where they also ranched. They later moved to Livingston. Her husband died in June 1964.
She was a member of Holbrook United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Killkare Club in Big timber; the Shields River Friendship Club. She was an honorary president of the Park County Pioneer Society.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret (Beth) White of Livingston; four sons, Dan of Livingston; Max of Big Timber; Kenneth of Visalia, Calif. and John (Ward) of Midwest, Wyo.; 13 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.
