VIRGIE LEE CHAPPELL, 83, of Millington, homemaker, died Monday at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home with burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds. She was a member of the Women's Society at Quito Methodist Church. Mrs. Chappell, the widow of Fred Larue Chappell, leaves three daughters, Viva Chappell Syde of Dyersburg, Tenn., Jean C. Luttrell of Arlington and Lisa Chappell of Oakland; a sister, Linnie English of Edgewood, Texas; a brother, Robert Ferguson of Drummonds, four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
