Bertha Minnix Bondurant, age 79, of Route 5, Box 278, died Friday, June 20, 1990, in Memorial Hospital of Martinsville. Born March 2, 1911, in the Boones Mill section of Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Edgar L. Minnix and the late Emmie Flora Minnix. She was a member of Jones Chapel Church of the Brethren. Mrs. Bondurant formerly operated along with her husband, Bondurant's Grocery in Figsboro. Surviving are her husband, Andrew J. (Jack) Bondurant, two daughters, Emmie Lee Gagne of Clinton, N.J.; Betty Lou Mitchell, Martinsville; three sons, Andrew J. Bondurant, Jr., Alexandria; Bobby Joe Bondurant, Amherst; G. T. Bondurant of Ridgeway; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
