MARTIN
Ethel L. Martin, born on April 18, 1919 in Hill County, Texas, the daughter of J.B. and Nora Grant Gunter, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2000 in a local hospital. She was 80.
Ethel moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1945. She met and married Robert K. "Bob" Martin on September 28, 1946. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Following the death of Mr. Martin, she lived in Fort Worth for 5 years before returning to Corpus Christi about six months ago. She was a homemaker.
Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Buford R., Olin B. & Hubert Gunter.
She is survived by her children, Aubrey (Lynda) Rangeley of Corpus Christi, Texas; Ed Martin of Houston, Texas; Donna (Bryan) Rodgers of Dolan Springs, Arizona; two sisters, Helen Elmore, Lollie (Miles) Ford all of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, Vicki (Tom) Stockton of Goliad, Texas; Lynn (Vicki) Rangeley, Lisa Rangeley all of Corpus Christi, Texas; Lee Rangeley of Franklin, Pennsylvania; Joey Winstead, Jason Winstead, Jeremy Winstead all of Beeville, Texas; six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, April 6, 2000 at Seaside Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2000 at Seaside Memorial Park.
