Daughter of John Daniel and Celia Harrelson Sessions, wife of Julius Neville Bethea.

MULLINS - Mrs. Carrie Sessions Bethea, widow of Julius N. Bethea, one of Mullins' most loved women, died early Sunday at her home after an illness of several weeks.

Mrs. Bethea was a daughter of the late J. D. and Celia Harrelson Sessions, pioneer residents of Marion County. She was born at Marion in 1864.

She is survived by a step son, Adger W. Bethea of the Canal Zone, Panama; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Bethea MacQueen of of Clio, Mrs. Howard B. Smith of Mullins and Mrs. Arnold Hall of Burlington, N.C.; one son, John P. Bethea of Florence; one brother, Ellis Sessions of Columbia; and one sister, Miss Daisie Sessions of Mullins.

Funeral services will be held from the family residence on North Park Street, Monday morning at 11 o'clock, with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
