Pearle Frank, Retired County Employee, Dies

Mrs. Pearle K. Frank, 74, longtime Cass County deputy treasurer, died at 11 10 p.m Sunday at the Cass County Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late George Frank. The daughter of Henry C. and Emma Warnaca Kerkmann, she was born in Massena May 26, 1903, and was graduated from the Massena High School. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and taught school for seven years prior to
her marriage to George Frank July 12, 1932, in Omaha.

Following their marriage they moved to Atlantic and she was deputy county treasurer from 1941 until retiring in 1969. Mrs Frank was a member of the United Church of Christ. Surviving are a son, Roger Frank of Harmon, Illinois; two grandsons, Timothy and Thomas Frank; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Falconer of Anita and Mrs. Grover (Ruby) Dodge of Corning; a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died January 2, 1940, her parents and a sister, Lula Buboltz.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United Church of Christ, with Rev. Claude Wood officiating. Interment will be in the Victoria Township Cemetery south of Massena. Roland's Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
