Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Armel Church with Rev Walter E.White Officiating for Milton Morris,highly respected pioneer resident of the Armel acaommunity,who came there in 1888 and had lived there since with the exception of about 6 years.
Mr Morris was born in Fayette County,Virginia on Nov.15,1855 and Died on Oct.22,1944 at the home of his daughter in Guernsey,Wyoming where he and Mrs. Morris had gone two weeks ago to make their home.
He had been in poor health for the past 3 months.
When a boy of 14 he moved with his parents from Virginia to Belleville,Republic County,Kansas.There was when he married Charity Elizabeth Edwards Jan.5,1876.Twelve years later they came to Colorado and settled on a homestead near the present site of Armel and this has been their home except for 6 years spent at Haddam,Kansas.When he was a young man he was baptised into the Christian Church.
Four children preceded him Jessie,Carl,Sadie Glasgow and Clara Chappel.
His survivors include his wife and nine childrend
