Dies at home of Samuel Edward as Result of Pneumonia after Week's Illness
Miss Ann Thomas died at the home of Samuel Edwards on Prospect street at seven-thirty o'clock this morning after being ill less than a week with pneumonia.
Miss Thomas was born in England and when a very young girl, came to this country with her parentst. She united with the Methodist church when a young lady and has been a constant member and also an earnest worker for the Epworth League. For the past forty years she has been employed as housekeeper for Mr. Edwards.
The deceased is survivied by a step-mother, Mrs James Moore [Hoare], of Mineral Point, Wis., one full-brother, Joseph, of Chicago; and a step-brother, John of Lacola, Ia., and cousins living in Galena and surrounding towns.
The funeral will be held some time Thursday, the hour to be announced later.
