Frank Tipton, 50. died at his home, 50 Carroll street. Westminster, Saturday, July 8. 1967,
from a heart attack. He was born at Roan Mountain, Tenn. the son
of the late E. D. and Rosa Forbes Tipton. He was a car salesman, having been employed
by Harry F. Green Used Car Sales, 353 E. Main Street, Westminster.
He is survived by his wife. Faye Greenholtz Tipton and the following children: Mrs. Carolyn Hobbs, Pound, Va., Melvin Tipton, Westminster, Nancy Tipton and a stepson, Neal Pickett ,both at home. Two brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Andrew Gregg, Mrs. Cel Collins, both of Littlestown, Pa.; Jack Tipton, Augusta, Ga., Ben L. Tipton, Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Roy Hall, Johnson City, Tenn., Mrs. William Miller, Norwalk, Conn, and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Westminster. Burial was in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
