Miss Lesta Alt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Alt, departed this life, May 31 at 11:30 p.m. aged 17 years, 9 months and 16 days. The cause of her death was tuberculosis. She has been a patient sufferer, bearing up with Christian fortitude. She was born in New Washington, Aug 15, 1892 and spent her entire life here.
The funeral services were held this (Friday) morning at 10 o'clock from St. Bernards church, Rev. Fr. Kunnert officiating. Burial in the Catholic cemetery. She leaves to mourn her death, her parents, three sisters, Mrs. Forest Judy, of Deerfield, Ind.; Mrs. Wm. Kanney of Sulpher Springs; Mrs. Wesley Saull of Brokensword; Fred of Attica; Victor of STrutters, Ohio; Frank of Webb City, Mo.; John at home.
