A son of Charles and Sarah Rupert Boyer, he was born November 24, 1897 in Armstrong County.
Mr. Boyer was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Gastown, and Elderton's Firemen's Association. He was a retired driller for Peoples Natural Gas Co.
Survivors include his widow Clara Graff Boyer; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Lee (Edna) Silvis, Everett; four grandchildrenFriends will be received at the Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. both today and Saturday where funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Edward Balint, officiating. Interment will be in Elderton Cemetery.
