Mr. Black was a member of 12 Stone Church and a retired Captain of the Gw. Co. Fire Dept. Station 15. Preceded in death by son, Brian Black on April 11, 2001 and brother, Carrell Black. Survived by wife of 41 years, Sylvia Black; sons, JoJo and Chris Black; brothers, J. T. (Barbara) Black, H. F. (Jackie) Black,Jr., and Winford Black; sisters, Nell Patrick, Jeanette (Leon) Langley, and Ann Black; sister-in-law, Jeanette Black; several nieces, and nephews.
