Bronaugh McClair Deringer (1819 - 11 Aug 1868) was born in Phila.

He married Estalena McLean (Woodland) Deringer (5 Jan 1830 - 14 June 1903).

Bronaugh was a "coal merchant" in Washington, DC, from 1840-47. In 1848, he bought a large farm near New Castle, Delaware. In the 1860 U.S. Census, Bronaugh lived in New Castle, and he was a "farmer."

Bronaugh and Estalena had the following children: Rosalie Deringer, Bronaugh Deringer, Florence Deringer (born c.1849), Estalena Woodland Deringer (born c.1852), Eliza Deringer (born c.1854), Henry Clay Deringer (born c.1856), Mary Nivin Deringer (born c.1858), and Woodland Deringer (born c.1865).

Bronaugh died of typhoid fever. In the 1870 U.S. Census, the widowed Estalena lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
