Son of Leverett Theodore Brown and Ida Louisa Cochran, husband of Catherine Norton, and father of Elizabeth "Betty" (married Bossler) and Marjorie Brown (married Haubold).
Obituary - Ernest V. Brown, 84, of Bellhaven Road, Brookhaven, died March 6th at the Suffolk Infirmary. He was the husband of the late Kitty Norton Brown.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Bossler of Brookhaven, Marjorie Haubold of Margate, Fla., two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation services under the direction of Carman-Lucia Bros. Funeral Home, Patchogue, were private. Interment services at Woodland Cemetery, will be held at the convenience of the family.
