Mrs. Ada Turner, 83, Topeka, died today in a Topeka hospital. Born Sept. 7, 1889 in Dixson, Tenn., she had lived in Topeka about 61 years.
She was married to Napoleon M. Turner in March of 1912. he survives at the home.
She was a member of St. Marks AME Church and served on the pastor's Aid Club. She also was a member of Fidelis Club and a charter member of the rose of Sharon Art Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Iva E. Street, Topeka; a son, Vernon L. Turner, Topeka; 2 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at St. Marks AME Church with burial in Mount Auburn Cemetery.
