Ron "Raider" was born Jun. 26, 1948 in Cambridge, N.Y., the son of the late Wells and Wilma Herrington Eddy.
He was a graduate of Hoosick Falls High School, he worked at various plants throughout Hoosick Falls, most recently Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp.
He was an avid reader, NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to tag sales and collecting antiques.
Survivors other than his wife, Mary Jane include a daughter, Carrie Scott Goldstein of Hoosick Falls; two sisters, Susan Eddy and Carol Rayner both of West Hoosick; a brother, Walter Eddy of Melrose, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Anthony, Max and Brigitte of Hoosick Falls, N.Y.; two nieces, Lindsay and Alex of West Hoosick, N.Y.; as well as a special friend, Donnie Hale of West Hoosick, N.Y.
