JOSEPHINE "JOSIE" JENSEN, 90, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2000 at Heritage Place in Kalispell. She was born January 1, 1910 in Skogmo, North Dakota to John and Lydia {Grissandt} Heth. She married Albert V. Jensen on July 17, 1928 in Towner, North Dakota. They farmed in Velma, North Dakota until 1949. when they moved to Puyallup, Washington. They moved to Kalispell in 1954, where she has lived until her death. She worked for Flathead County Nursing Home until she retired in 1975. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church. She loved to go salmon fishing in the old days, crocheting and making the best Norwegian dinners for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert; five brothers and two sisters, a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and August Rolena; and two sons.

She is survived by, a brother, Otto Heth, of Anaheim, California; son, Wayne A. Jensen and his wife, Mary, of Tucson, Arizona; and Larry N. Jensen and wife Carolyn, of Ozark, Alabama; daughters, DeLoris Glodrey and her husband Gary, of Sumner, Washington; Shirley Zimmerman of Kalispell; Darlene Klawitter and her husband, Kent, of Atwater, California; Saron Shiflett and her husband, Keith, of Kalispell; Grandson, Scott Shiflett and his wife, Kim of Kalispell; 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing Monday 2 to 5 p.m. at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bob Nilsen officiating. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens, Buffalo Hill Funeral Home caring for the family.
