Mrs Lee Anna Shockley Alley, 67, wife of Sebert L. Alley, of the Pickett section of Carroll County (RFD 1, Austinville), died at her home on Tuesday, August 12.
Born in Carroll County March 11, 1891.
Surviving, besides the husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Hazel A. Brennan, Moss Point, Miss.; Mrs. Elva A. Singleton, Perryville, Md., and Miss Earlene Alley, RFD 1, Austinville; four sons, Claude Alley and Ray Alley, both of RFD 1, Austinville; Elmer Alley, Havre de Grace, Md., and Sidney Alley, Perryville, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Etta Kemp, Princeton, WVa., and twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday (August 15) at Coulson Brethren Church, by the Rev. Donald Clay, pastor of the church.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The body was removed Wednesday from Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, to the residence, where it will rest until 10:00 a.m. Friday, when it will be placed in the church.
