Robert Britt 84 of Glasgow died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Greenview Regional Hospital. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Reuben and Clara Calvert Britt. Mr. Britt was a farmer and had been an employee of the Ferro Fiberglass Co. in Nashville, TN. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and attended the First Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie B. Jolly and husband Dale of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Lauren Jolly and Leah Jolly Williams and husband James both of Glasgow; 1 great-granddaughter Anna Elise Williams and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dellie Marie King Jolly; 2 sisters Mildred Burgess and Marie Kuzma and a brother Richard Britt.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 22, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by D.A.V. Chapter 20 of Glasgow.
