Susannah (Susan) was the first child born to John and Julia (Pifer) Bedunah in New York. She had one sister, Sarah, and two brothers - John, and Hosea who were born in New York, then Andrew, and Moses who were born in Michigan. The family seemed to go back and forth from New York to Michigan.
Susan married Martin Van Buren Moon and they had five children - William H. born 1856, George born 1859, Charles Ellsworth born 1867, John Benjamin born 1869 and Melissa born 1876. In 1870 the family was in New York, but by 1880 they were in Michigan where Martin was farming.
Susan and Martin both passed away in Bellevue Michigan.
