Sacred to the Memory of
LOUISIANA SAYERS
Daughter of Simon Green of Franklin City, N.C.
She was born Dec. 10th 1803, professed religion, attached herself to the M.E. Church in 1823, was married Dec 30th the same year and emigrated to Geo Jan. 1824. Being some distance from any church, she did not attach herself to the M.E. Church in this state until 1828 and was a member of the same until she departed this life Jan. 4th 1849 aged 45 years & 25 days.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Her pilgrimage is o'er
Kind angel did convey
Her happy soul to Canaan's shore
To dwell in endless day.
