Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Keith Jackson, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home on November 25, 1995, in Salt Lake City after a long and courageous life.
Keith was born February 4, 1909, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Thomas Burnside and Mary Emma Hill Jackson. He married Beulah Ranck on July 31, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II with over two years of overseas duty. He owned and operated the Breeze Inn in East Mill Creek for 17 years and Keith's Cafe in Holladay for 12 years. He was a member of the Canyon Rim 4th Ward and was a Life Member of VFW Post 3586 (Sugar House) and the BPOE Lodge 849 (Provo).
He was always generous and had a great sense of humor. Kind and loving, he was respected and loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah of Salt Lake City; four sons, Boyd (wife JoAnn), Gillette, Wyo.; Lawny (wife Shirley), Bridgeland, Utah; Scott (wife Jodi), Salt Lake City; Lyle, Park City, Utah; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Merle Pugh, Murray, Utah; and a brother, Stanley (wife Hazel), Meridian, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 29, 1995, 12 noon, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens. Funeral directors, The Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
