Lloyd Jackson, 79, Salt Lake City, died Nov 13, 1976 at home after a long illness.
Born May 19, 1897, Salt Lake City, to Thomas B. and Mary Hill Jackson. Married Irma Griffin, Oct. 21, 1919. She died Aug 4, 1965. One of Salt Lake City's leading excavation contractors for 35 years.
Survivors: son, Rex L. St. George; daughters, Lila, San Francisco; Elaine Rees, Donna Newman, Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brothers, sisters, Stanley, Meridian, Idaho; Keith, Lyle Moody, Merle Pugh, all Salt Lake City.
Funeral services Wednesday 1 p.m., Valley View 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 3900-2000 East. Friends may call at the Deseret Mortuary, Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. and at the ward Wednesday, one hour before services. Burial, Elysian Burial Gardens.
