Mr. Beeman was born in Anderson and was a longtime resident of Delaware County. He had been a school bus driver for Delaware Community Schools for 10 years and later drove for Anderson Community Schools before he retired in 1992.
He attended South Side Church of God and was a past member of Wilbur A. Full Masonic Lodge 744.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shelly and Troy Caldwell of Muncie, Trina Beeman, Muncie, and Nedra and John Adams of Albany; his children's mother, Barbara Beeman; four brothers, Marvin and Dean Beeman, both of Anderson, Modie Beeman, Chesterfield, and Larry Beeman, Hartford City; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Ella and Paul Clawson, and Maxine and Oscar Bowen, all of Muncie, Ellen and Gene Brown, Warren, and Rose Beeman, Anderson; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Two sisters and three brothers are deceased.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel.
Calling will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary, where Wilbur A. Full Masonic Lodge will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m.
