Jack D. Moore, age 87, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away April 22, 2011. He was born February 4, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to Otis and Elsie Bradshaw Moore. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps during WW II in the Pacific Area and was honorably discharged as a Corporal in December 1945. Jack married Emily C. Renneberg on April 30, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to the Annaville area in 1953. He retired from PPG Industries in 1979 after thirty-two years of service. His interest included chess, bridge and remote controlled airplanes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dale Moore, two sisters, two brothers and his wife, Emily, his life long companion for over sixty-two years.

Mr. Moore is survived by his daughters: Sherry (Bryan) Courtney of Corpus Christi, Texas, Beverly (Jay) Cooper of Katy, Texas; son, Stephen Moore of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Jody Badum and James Badum both of Austin, Texas; Janet Cooper and Jess Cooper both of Katy, Texas.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 10:00 A.M., at the Grace United Methodist Church with The Rev. Mark Montgomery officiating.

Interment will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
