Naomi Mitchell Bradshaw, 89, formerly of Kiowa, was born July 5, 1921, in Madge, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. Her parents were Esther Smith and Finis Mitchell. She died Saturday, April 23, 2011 in a Lufkin hospice facility. Naomi was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Calhoun County Quilt Guild in Port Lavaca, Texas, and loved to share her love of quilting with others. Naomi had resided in Huntington for the past 3 years, and was a former longtime resident of Kiowa, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kiowa. Naomi is survived by her daughter, Beverly Lovett and husband James of Huntington; grandson, Anthony Lewallen and wife Carmen of League City; granddaughter, Daphne Knochel and husband Mark of Webster; great grandchildren, Aviana and Alexander Knochel of Webster; step grandsons, Troy Lovett of Conyers, Georgia, Brent Lovett of League City; step granddaughter, Debby Lovett Alaniz and husband Steve of Manvel; step great grandchildren, Michael Lovett, Austin Kelso, both of League City, and Brady Kelso of Austin. The Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Chaney's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Piercy officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Masonic Section, McAlester, OK.
