She was born in Philadelphia on July 14th, 1911 to the late Louis and Jennie (Kanetsky) Grossman.
She worked for several years as a Key Punch Operator at Penn Fruit Company. Sarah was a member of Kesher Israel Sisterhood and the JCC Senior Group. She was a caring, loving and generous mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ritchie; two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Zendal of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Laurie Bangs (Peter), Jeffrey Zendal; three great grandchildren, Sydney, Ryleigh and Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 at 1 p.m., at the Kesher Israel Cemetery chapel. Rabbi Akiva Males will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Kesher Israel Cemetery.
