Mr. Thomas Chance met with a serious accident on Thursday last, while at work at the turning lathe at the factory. The accident was occasioned by the piece of timber upon which he was at work flying from the lathe and striking him on his forehead, driving the skull in upon the brain and producing a fracture some inches in extent. The wound was dressed by Drs. Palmer and Fuller.—Sauk Centre Herald.
