Married 3/3/1870 at the Churchtown Presbyterian Church, Northern Ireland. Married to Elizabeth McCaughern, had 9 children.
First buried in Forest Park Cemetery in 1899, wife Elizabeth also in 1931 along with 2 daughters; Jennie and Annie Rea. Have never found any records of the move of their 3 graves (although I tried many times) BUT their gravestone is in Elmwood a few miles from Forest Park. I believe the oldest daughter, Elizabeth Burhart Ray either had them moved or just placed the memorial stone in Elmwood. Still a mystery to me to know exactly where they are buried. Records don't exist at either cemetery which is a real shame.
