Jennings, La. - Arvellien Bergeaux, 66, died yesterday at American Legion Hospital at 8:30 p.m. after an illness of several months.
Bergeaux, a retired farmer, was a resident of Evangeline and a lifelong resident of the area. The remains are at the Segura Funeral Home.
Religious services will be held tomorrow at the Tee Mamou Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Father Harry Van Teil will conduct the services. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
Bergeaux is survied by his widow, Emma Miller Bergeaux; two sons, Albert Bergeaux of Jennings and Russell Bergeaux of Evangeline; seven grand-children and one great-grandchild.
A Rosary will be recited for Bergeaux at 8 o'clock tonight.
