Mildred Smith, 86, of Whitesboro, formerly of Midland, Texas, died on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Resthaven Memorial Park, with Rev. Ty Morris, Jr, Associate Pastor at Crestview Baptist Church, officiating.
She was born on September 15, 1924, in Borger, Texas and Married Clyde Smith on May 23, 1947, in Borger. He preceded her in death in 2009.
Mildred was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and was active in church and the Senior Adults Class.
Survivors include her daughter, Krista Blakley and husband Eddie of Kyle, Texas; her son, Dennis Smith and wife Beth of Whitesboro, Texas; six grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Eric Smith, Alisha Holecek, Brandon Blakley, Lance Blakley, and Jessica Blakley; one great grandchild, Mareena Rose Holecek; two brothers, Ritchey Wallis and Robert Wallis, Jr.; and three sisters, Peggy Williams, and Martha Sharp, all of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Bobbye Schwalm of Richardson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters.
