Thomas Tharp parents were Joshua Tharp and wife Elizabeth (nee Smith ) Dunahoo. Thomas was born 1834 in Piketon, OH. Moved to Iowa in 1851. Served in Civil War 1861 - 1865. Twice married: 1 st - Emma Jane Wilhelm. They had 3 cldrn: Elnora ; Lee and Clara. Emma died Aug 16, 1880, Moscow, IA. 2nd Mrd Rosa Fisher Bush No Children. Rosie died Dec. 15, 1901. All buried Moscow, Iowa Cemetery
