Stella (Isbell) Glover was born on November 8, 1873 in Tennessee, the daughter of William Elliot "Buck" Isbell (1839–1912) and Martha Fletcher "Pattie" (Johnson) Isbell (1852–1938).
She was married to Moses Lafayette Glover (1870–1951) on December 27, 1893 in Union City, Obion County, Tennessee, and he was the son of Jesse Lafayette Glover (1846–1928) and Jessie Annabelle (Caldwell) Glover (1848–1883).
Stella had been living in rural Obion County near the Kentucky/Tennessee state line. At the age of 92, She was living with a daughter at 102 Pembroke in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee when she passed away on July 14, 1966. Burial was in Mount Olive Cemetery near Crystal, Obion County.
