Mrs. Alice Boykin Kilgore, 85, Gadsden, died this morning in a local hospital after an extended illness. Services will be tomorrow at Forrest cemetery at 10 a.m. with Rev. James Baird officiating.
Survivors are: brother, Benton Lamar Boykin, Shaker Heights, Ohio; nieces, Mrs. Fred S. Cooper, Gadsden, Mrs. Walter S. Wilson, Birmingham, Mrs. Lewis R. Kilpatrick, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. M. J. Morris, Mrs. M.A. Petti, Mrs. Trevor Guy and Mrs. R.K. Weinfurtner, all of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
Mrs. Kilgore was a native of Seale (AL), and a resident of Gadsden most of her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Kilgore was a charter member of the Book Review Club and a member of the Christopher Gadsden Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
