Found the following on Archiver.RootsWeb.Ancestry.com [in January of 2015]; the information is from a message thread in February of 2002:
Babson in his History of Gloucester says that Israel "died 4 Oct 1854 age 90; leaving several daughters and one son who settled in Illinois. His youngest son Olwyn died in Texas of a wound received at the battle of San Jacinto."
(The gravestone shows 89 as his age.)
