She had been a sufferer from cancer for some time and had been to Kansas City for treatment. Her condition was much improved and her recovery almost assured, but on her return home she was taken ill with pneumonia and had to stop in Louisville, where she died. She leaves an aged mother, one sister and a brother, besides a husband, a son and a daughter. She was 56 years old and a member of the Christian church. She lived a very quiet christian life. To know her was to esteem her highly.
