Funeral services in the Melville Methodist church and burial in the adjacent cemetery were held for Cliff Bordelon, 57, who died Tuesday night at his home in Melville after an illness of three months.

Bordelon, a carpenter, was a member of the Melville Masonic lodge and the Melville Methodist church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Evelyn Brooks of Melville; four sons, Donald Bordelon of Orange, Tex., Royce and G. T. Bordelon of Melville, Hewitt Bordelon of Lafayette; three brothers, C. P. Bordelon of Baton Rouge, Abram and Clarence Bordelon of Orange; three sisters, Mrs. Russell Milligan of Bunkie, Mrs. Rose McMillian of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. George Wagner of Opelousas.
