Edgar Harrington emigrated from England to London, Ontario, Canada, in July 1869. He was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 8 January 1876 in London by J. J. Cornish. He was ordained an elder and presided over the London, Ontario Branch for many years. In 1884 he left Canada and settled at Armstrong, Wyandotte, Kansas, where he presided over a branch.
Edgar was a carpenter by trade,after his wifes death and his retirement he lived in Independence Mo.
