WALTER JIHORSKI, 64, of Upper Township, died Friday at his home in the the Marshallville section of the township.

He was born in Woodbine and lived in Ocean City before moving here 16 years ago.

He was a member of the American Legion Post in Tuckahoe. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He served as a Seabee.

Mr. Jihorski was a self-employed meat cutter.

Surviving are his wife, Dody; one son, living Blake, of Seaville; one daughter living Haberman of South Dennis Township; one brother of Woodbine; four sisters, Anita Orbanes of Goshen, Sonja DeSantis of Woodbine, living Williams of Hanover, Pa., and living Oille of Millville; five grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Langley Funeral Home, Main Street, Tuckahoe. Friends may call call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Union Cemetery in South Dennis Township.

Contributions may be made to the Holy Redeemer Hospice in Swainton.
