Esther E. Horne, 81, of Nampa, died Monday, Sept.9, in her home. Mrs. Horne was born on Feb. 10, 1904, in Portland, Ore., where she was reared and educated. She married Martin Horne on Nov. 20, 1929, in Portland where they made their home until moving to Nampa in 1952. She was a member of the Nampa Bible Missionary Church.
She is survived by her husband of Nampa; four daughters and their husbands, Viola and Wes Tucker of Otis, Ore., Eleanor and Stan Hansen of Kelso, Wash., Virginia and Gerald Zellmer of Davenport, Wash., and Joan and Art Ellis of Denver, Colo.; one son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Suzanne Horne of Nampa; one sister, Mary Robinson of Seal Beach, Calif.; three brothers Ben Becker of Beaver, Ore., Joe Becker of Portland, Ore., and James Becker of Beaverton, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Melvin Roy Horne, three brothers and two sisters.
