Funeral for Adeline Pickett Collier, 87, of Decatur will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Sharpley Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Collier died Tuesday, August 18, 1998, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was born February 15, 1911, in Limestone County to the late Xline and John Pickett. She was a member of St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Mack W. collier and Leo Collier, both of Decatur; two daughters, Fannie Phornore and Alene Collier, both of Decatur; one sister, Delia Johnson of Decatur; 30 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
