PENSACOLA, Fla. Alexander (Pop) Booth, age 95, a current resident of Pensacola, Florida and former resident of Fosters, Alabama died on September 11, 2006.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Clarence Booth and Magnolia Parks Booth; his wife, Mary A. Booth; his son, Rev. Milton C. Booth; and three brothers: John Curry Booth, Hiram Thurston Booth and Ira Hawkins Booth.

Survivors include a daughter, Alexzene Minor (Ronnie) of Pensacola, Florida; daughter-in-law, Linda Styes Booth of Ralph; grandchildren: Paul Minor and Matt Minor of Pensacola, Florida; Amy Goodgame (Randall) of Springhill, Tennessee;

Marty Booth (Robyn) of Smyrna, Georgia; great grandchildren, Olivia and Jonah Goodgame of Springhill, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Foster Abernathy, Jim Anders, Henry (Buddy) Booth, Bruce Cook, Rudy Cook, Glen Stamps, Monty Stamps and Tommy Wood.

Services will be held today, September 14 at Grants Creek Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mike Griffin and Rev. Jim Smith officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to United Methodist Children's Home TLP, Box 71688, Tuscaloosa, AL 35407 or a favorite charity of choice. Published in Tuscaloosa News on September 14, 2006
