Funeral services for Mrs. August F. Bremer, 54, of 525 Boston Avenue, who died Tuesday morning of a heart attack will be Friday.

There will be a prayer service for the family at 1:30 p.m. at the residence. At 2 p.m. there will be a service at First Lutheran church with the Rev. Bruno Schlachtenhaufer officiating.

Burial will be at Fairview cemetery.

The former Elsie Ludtke was born in Waterloo February 23, 1899, the daughter of Julius and Minnie Degler Ludtke. she was married to August F. Bremer on July 16, 1919. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Williamstown, where they lived for 12 years, after which they returned to Waterloo.

She was a baptized and confirmed member of the First Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies' Aid and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Anna Miller, 525 Boston Avenue, a nephew, Al Miller of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and her husband, who died December 20, 1952.

The body will be taken from O'Keefe & Towne funeral home to the family residence at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
