George Byerley
Byerley, George, aged 68, of 15 Tressler Ave., Fairchance, died in the Uniontown Hospital, Thursday, February 24, 1955 at 1:45 p.m. He was born April 30 1886 in George's Township.
He had been employed by the U. S. Steel Co., for forty years retiring in 1951. He was a member of the UMWA, Shoaf local 6325 and the Smithfield Band.
He is survived by his wife Mary Byerley and these child-
ren: Edward, Youngstown, O.' Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Dunham and Mrs. C. R. (Madora) Cooley, Fairchance; Mrs. Olive Kissinger, Connelsville; three stepsons, Thomas D. Jackson,
Riviera Beach, Fla,; William H. and Lawrence E. Jackson, Fairchance; seventeen grandchildren; nine great-
grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Walter Byerley, Monongahela; Mrs. Almedia Hiller, Schnectady, N.
Y.; Mrs. Ellen Litman, Baltimore, Md.; Grove Byerley, Baltimore, Md. He was predeceased by two sisters and
one brother.
Friends will be received in the late residence after 7 o'clock this evening. Arrangements under the direction of the Ferguson Funeral
