Graveside services: 11 a.m. June 9 in Asbury Cemetery, Morristown. Calling: 10 to 11 a.m. June 9 in Frazier Funeral Home, Morristown.

He was the widower of Lena Jane Richerson Mardis.

Survivors: daughters Margaret Rouse, Mary Frances Miller, Betty Jean Simpson; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
