Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at Dobie for Mrs. Anna Sirek, 86, who died at a local hospital Sunday after a brief illness. Rev. Henry Keil officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Sirek was born July 28, 1866 in Czechoslovakia and lived in the Dobie community 30 (or 38) years. Her husband, Jacob Sirek and two daughters preceded her in death. Survivors include six sons; Joseph of Lonsdale, MN., J.W. of Rice Lake and Frank, John, Louis and Michael of Dobie, besides a brother James Vesely of New Prague, MN.
