Born in Racalmuto, Sicily on January 7, 1911. Passed away peacefully at the Henderson Hospital on August 11, 2009, in her 99th year. Resident of Grace Villa. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Raimonda (late Angelo) Falco, Angela (Giuseppe) Falletta, Grazia (late Calogero) Cino, Nicoletta (late Salvatore) Sferrazza, Michelangelo (Carm), Giuseppe (Jeannette), Calogero (Anna). Beloved nonna and bis-nonna of 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Innocenzo (Lina) Giancani from Rome. Predeceased by sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Maria and Alfonso Giudice, Rosalia and Giuseppe Manto, Rosa and Guiseppe Lauricella, Maria and Ciraolo Agro, Orazio and Grazia Guagliano, Grazia and Calogero Ricottone, Alfonsa and Antonino Terrana, Angelo and Salvatrice Guagliano. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, USA and Argentina. Special thanks to all the staff at Grace Villa and the ER at the Henderson. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday 7 - 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers Thursday evening. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
