Funeral services for Beverly Jean Cook, 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cook of Spencerville, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lutheran church at Spencerville with the Rev. Walter Hollopeter officiating and burial was made in Scipio cemetery.
Beverly died Saturday night at 11:30 o'clock at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nodine, east of Waterloo, from pneumonia following the measles. She had been sick since early in November and she was cared for at her aunt's home.
Surviving are the parents, four brothers, Wayne, Donald, Carl and Freddie; three sisters, Violet, Joyce and Mary Gertrude, and two half brothers, Robert and Walter, the latter two living north of Auburn, Mrs. Gertrude Carnahan, the grandmother, resides at 814 South Philip street, Auburn.
